NBA Stars Make or Break Their First Impressions in Opening-Week Action
Can a player make a good first impression in the NBA? It's a question that's on everyone's mind as the new season begins. For some, like Kawhi Leonard and Damian Lillard, it's a resounding yes. They dominated their opponents and set the tone for their teams. But for others, like Giannis Antetokounmpo and Miles Bridges, it's a mixed bag. Antetokounmpo's new team, the Miami Heat, struggled to keep up with the Timberwolves, while Bridges scored only eight points in his debut. Meanwhile, LaMelo Ball made headlines with his comical sidestepping, and LeBron James continued to prove why he's one of the greatest players of all time. As the season heats up, one thing is clear: the NBA is full of talented players, but only a few will make a lasting impression.
