Jerry Jones’ Deadline Dilemma: Can the Cowboys Turn Their Season Around?
Can the Dallas Cowboys turn their season around? With a 2-4 record, they're trailing the New York Giants in the NFC East, but Jerry Jones is optimistic. The Cowboys have made several trades in the past year, but will another deal be the answer to their problems? Jones says the team will consider trades that can help them improve this year, but there are concerns about the team's defensive scheme and the need for players to adjust to the new system. Meanwhile, the NFC East is wide open, with the Giants, Eagles, and Commanders all dealing with injuries. The Cowboys' schedule offers a chance to get back on track, but will they take advantage of it? As Jones puts it, "I see opportunities and I see it legitimately because I know the things that we have the potential to do, both with our talent, both with our schemes, adjustments."
